This is our family
May 14,2010 My name is Joseph Kozan and I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland in the 50's, 60's and 70's. I came from a good catholic family and tried to live a good life. Prayers to Mary, the 10 commandments, treat others as you would yourself, etc....you know what I mean. I never was sure about heaven though. There was always some doubt in my mind if I was good enough.
When I was 26 years of age, I was invited to attend services at the Rosedale Baptist church. I heard a clear presentation of the gospel for the first time. I have heard the term "born again" before, but I never knew it was actually in the bible or what it meant. There it was in red and white, "Except a man be born again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven."John 3:16 KJV Whatever this "born again" was, I knew I didn't have it and I needed to know what it was all about.
The Holy Spirit had convicted my heart and I could not have peace until it was settled. For the first time in my life, I knew I was not acceptable into God's Holy heaven. On or around August 10th 1982, as the pastor of the Rosedale Baptist church shared the scriptures with me at my home, I got on my knees and asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life. I became "born again." My life was immediately and miraculously transformed! Now I know that heaven is my home! That was the most important day of my life. Praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever!
As years passed, I married a beautiful young lady from the Philippines and we now have a lovely 2 year young daughter. God has always been good to us.
